Lincoln University Institute for Integrated Agriculture and Energy

Creating a sustainable demonstration community

Christner worked with Lincoln University to create a Master Plan for the Institute for Integrated Micro-Community for the 21st Century. The Institute's goal is to address global and socioeconomic changes and challenges, with a particular focus on small farmers, families, youth, and small businesses in Missouri. The ambitious plan lays the groundwork for a sustainable small-farm community with housing for visitors, research facilities for faculty, a youth camp, a visitor center and farmer's market to serve and educate constituents on sustainable farming methods.
